At the Rural Voice Agriculture Conclave and NACOF Awards 2024, Uttarakhand Minister Dhan Singh Rawat announced that 1.2 million farmers received interest-free loans of ₹1–5 lakh, with none turning NPA, and that the state will be fully organic within two years. He highlighted the success of the Model Sadhan Cooperative Society and the adoption of Uttarakhand’s cooperative initiatives by other states. Experts discussed strengthening cooperatives, public and private sector roles, and policy reforms for farmer institutions. Former officials stressed infrastructure investment, R&D, and the cooperative sector’s 30–32% GDP contribution. Awards were presented to outstanding individuals and organizations in the agriculture and cooperative sectors.
