A Surat-based farmer, Kamlesh Patel, has scaled up production of Ghanjeevamrut, an organic fertiliser, to reduce reliance on chemical inputs and support natural farming. Producing around 1,000 bags daily, he aims to double output as demand rises, backed by government support and growing adoption of natural farming across Gujarat. Ghanjeevamrut improves soil health, boosts microbial activity, and enhances crop productivity, making it a key alternative to chemical fertilisers.
