Dóra Drexler has been appointed President of IFOAM Organics Europe to lead the 2026–2029 board mandate, stepping in as the organization navigates complex EU regulations and climate-resilient farming frameworks. Drexler’s appointment comes at a critical time for the estimated $100 billion European organic sector, which is advocating for long-term support within the future Common Agricultural Policy. Formerly the vice-president and director of the Hungarian Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (ÖMKi), she aims to strengthen the connection between scientific research, practical farming, and European policymaking.
