This study explores media professionals’ perceptions of organic farming in urban and rural Pune, revealing consensus on its environmental, health, and socioeconomic benefits. Rural journalists, however, face information gaps and limited editorial focus on agriculture. Strengthening training, reporting practices, and partnerships can enhance sustainability communication. The findings offer insights for policymakers, media, and researchers to promote organic farming and sustainable agricultural awareness in India.
