Women self-help groups (WSHGs) have begun making Sri Anna Prasadam (offering) for the Kashi Vishwanath temple, as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s initiative to support millets.
The United Nations has designated 2023 as the International Year of Millets, on the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. ‘Sri Anna,’ according to Modi, is the name of the cereal.Sri Anna Prasadam, which is made with millets, jaggery, sesame, cashew, almond, pure ghee, and khoya, is now available to devotees at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.At the Kashi Vishwanath temple, this Sri Anna Prasadam is offered to the Lord. According to a government press release, the sale of ‘Sri Anna Prasadam’ has begun at Kashi Vishwanath temple at the request of the UP government.
