The Nayab Singh Saini government has formed a high-level committee to frame a price policy for natural and organic produce with farmers’ participation. Chaired by the Principal Secretary of Agriculture, it includes key department heads, HAU experts, and Deputy Directors from six districts. The CEO of Haryana Kisan Kalyan Pradhikaran will serve as member-secretary. The panel will meet twice a year, before rabi and kharif seasons, to recommend fair prices based on CACP data. Officials say the move aims to ensure remunerative prices and improve farmers’ livelihoods.
