The Government of India is promoting organic fertilizers through the Market Development Assistance (MDA) scheme, offering ₹1,500 per metric tonne for products from biogas and CBG plants under the GOBARdhan initiative.
About 120 plants have registered on the Integrated Fertilizer Management System (iFMS) portal, with 44 MoUs signed to improve nationwide marketing and distribution.
AIOI is a membership organization to serve its member with a mission to promote the genuineness of organic products and to work actively in organic advocacy with the policy makers. The AIOI board of directors consists of 10 members. Each member serves a turn of 2 year. Board members are elected by AIOI industry general membership member. Presently there are 6 board of directors from the industry , executive director, CEO and other staff members.
