The Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, along with the Puducherry State Horticulture Development Society, has published the list of farmers eligible for subsidies to set up vermicompost tanks and beds under the National Horticulture Mission’s organic farming scheme. The list is displayed at Farmers’ Help Centres across Puducherry until February 23. Any objections must be submitted in writing to the office of the Additional Director of Agriculture (Horticulture) at the Botanical Gardens by the same date.
