Karnataka provides targeted transition subsidies to buffer smallholders facing lower yields when shifting from chemical to organic and natural farming. The state integrates central programs with its own regional policy frameworks to support land certification and input infrastructure. Under the Organic Farming Mission, the state grants a cash incentive of ₹10,000 per acre annually for the first 1 to 3 years of land transition to offset the initial drop in crop yield.
